Fern Valley

I'm feeling a bit better but still not well enough to go out for a walk yet! Thanks for all the lovely get well wishes, I really appreciate it! So another guest blip from Rik again.

Rik and Joseph went out to Fern Valley for a mooch whilst I stayed in the warm and watched another Doctor Blake Mystery!!.

The path follows a Y route through a small wooded area with a grassy meadow on the valley floor. It was just a bit boring, so Joseph spent the time trying to get smokey water effects on the small stream.

It's a small valley in the centre of the island that the local Waterworks company did a swap for with the local National trust, when they wanted to flood Queens Valley to create a new reservoir completed in 1991.
