Friends, Hobbits, Fish Fingers and Homemade Truffl

Great Sunday!

Met up with friends and went to see the third and final Hobbit film! It was brilliant! I can't wait to own the set and watch them all in a row though, followed by the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I feel it will all make more sense then.

We then all went back to 'General Cutherberts' house and we had a really good laugh together! I was even made a fish finger sandwich...something I haven't had for a fair few years!

Then I came home and completed stage two of the homemade truffle making process and finished them all off! Now I just have to make some boxes to gift them in and they are done! Even more impressive is that I didn't eat one! It's always satisfying to finish a project no matter how small and this is one of my favourite recipes I have from back when I was the President of the Stitch, Bake and Bitch society at university. Really simple and always a hit with recipients!

Getting more and more excited for Christmas now! :)
