Socks

Socks. I've been matching socks up. 43 pairs of socks, but still 38 odd socks. How is possible to have so many socks but still not match into pairs? Where are the other 38 socks? Lost somewhere in the house somewhere. I never understand socks.

It was the Carols by Candlelight service earlier tonight which was magnificent, as every year. The beauty and clarity of the chorister's voices was mesmerising. 600 plus people with candles and no accidents! I do love that type of service with the organ thundering and you can feel the vibrations in your bones.
