Kirk windows

Leaving St John's Kirk after a very enjoyable concert by Chansons (a Perth choir) and Edinburgh Academy Chamber Choir. The highlight was Britten's Saint Nicholas cantata. It's easier to appreciate than a lot of Britten, and I was surprised I hadn't heard it before.

I especially liked joining in - the work includes two hymns sung by the audience. The youngsters from Edinburgh were very good and the sound of the two choirs worked really well in the Kirk.
