Random: Indoor Still Life.

It was off to another Christmas Open House today......

Today it was the Civil War era open house at Helfrich Springs Grist Mill and the Peter Grim Homestead.

The Homestead was decorated as if it were Christmas during the Civil War. The costumed docent was very knowledgeable and led us through the house telling us how it would have been in the 1860's.

Across the street from the Homestead was the grist mill. My picture is a small section of the scale model of the Helfrich Springs Grist Mill.
