You've seen the downstream side of Fye Bridge (see here ), here's the upstream view : nice pub verandah, that's usually too cold to sit on, University Arts Dept along on left, 80's smart expensive housing on right.
Though there is much to mutter about the City Council ( now Conservative , having been Labour for ever ) A policy of keeping folk living in the heart of the city is to be admired, though this is pricey, there is social housing past the next bridge.
