All Saints Selsley

On my way down south I stopped off for a walk around the village of Selsley near Stroud. I walked around the common with great views over towards Bristol and visited the village church where my great grandparents are buried. The church dates from the 1860s and is best known for having the first stained glass that William Morris designed. There are also windows by Burne-Jones, Rossetti and Ford Madox Brown, and I also liked the beautifully carved capitals. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
