Tree Top Sunset

Accompanied Richard to his Pilates class at Hutton Le Hole as our usual class has stopped for Christmas. Afterwards there was time for tea and cakes. Annie the instructor had found a Snipe on the Moors which appeared to have frozen to death. She brought it to the class so we could have a look. Okay if you are not too squeamish and one lady took it to show her pupils.

This all meant time for photography was short. Dashed up to the castle to see what I could find. This is a view through the trees. It wasn't until I uploaded it that I noticed the solitary bird and the smoke from a chimney.
