Advent calendar

I made our advent calendar 7 years ago. We each take odd or evens and leave the another a message, e.g. I opened today's which says that I don't do any dishes today :)

I made it originally (from one of my grannies old pillowcases actually!) when I was away for 3 weeks in AUS/NZ so that my partner would get a message which told her where she should look to find a wee pressie hidden around the flat each day.

Looking at it now it does seem awfully plain so perhaps next year I'll give it a sparkly makeover
