Let there be lights

During this evening's constitutional with the dog I noticed just how many houses now sport a multitude of flashing, multi-coloured Christmas lights.

My own taste veers to simple white lights and no flashing (all that frantic cheer would send me insane) but I quite like the colourfulness for the brief time it takes to walk the dog around the block.

These lights aren't mine btw. I have yet to think beyond the baking and this will also be responsible for a run of pretty mediocre blips I suspect. By the time I've finished its dark and I'm shattered. We may never quite make it to a full tree and decorations...
