The Indescribable Beauty of an Urban Landscape

We did shatter a temperature record that dates back to 1923. The fish man at the grocery store is lamenting the week without sunshine. Not me. The fog is beautiful. My fog-kissed cheeks are happy. I'm happy.

Tonight, we pay, as the soft rain will first turn to sleet and then to snowflakes. I will still be happy, because there is a full bag of blue Rambo road salt in the garage and a fresh white coat will dress up the filthy piles of snow/garbage in the parking lots.

The only thing that could make me unhappy is turning on the TV news. That isn't going to happen.
