Curled sprig of fern

Stuck for a blip today and have mainly been at home. Our ferns are quite brown dry and curled, but still almost luminous in the fading light.

I cut a branch, laid it on a piece of mount board under the room light to both illuminate it and cast a shadow. I improved the contrast and changed the image to black and white, then inverted it (black and white change places). It's the best I could manage.
