Supping soup

Sunny start to the day,but away raw and dull this afternoon. Had to nip down the road to unlock all the field gates for the contractor to get in to cut the hedges. Called in at a neighbour's where he stores salt for the council . Lorries getting loaded all over the place.
A load of 25 tons of cattle feed arrived dead on lunch time.By the time I had him unloaded ,was just enough time to nip to the soup lunch in the village hall. The parsnip soup was seemingly very good,proven by the fact there was none left by the time I got there. Settled for the mushroom,which went down a treat.
