Not the Northern Lights

9 hours looking for the Northern lights. We got a tinge of green but even that's a cheat because the camera picks up a lot more than the eye can see. Yes, there are some fantastic displays but they're better, brighter, deeper and greener in photos.

Felt rough before we left, turned into full blown something horrible by the time we got back. This is as close to the Northern Lights as I'm ever going to get - it'll take more than some green sky to get me back on the shores of a fjord in the Arctic Circle at midnight.
