Cock ups a go go

Way to go British Gas & National Grid. Leave a 78 year old bloke with no gas and therefore no proper heat or way of cooking*, and then wash your hands of the whole affair.

Hence I cancelled my afternoon and went over to sort it. Numerous phone calls and 4 hours later normal service is resumed thanks to Mark, a local young plumber and gas fitter who would only take £25 as he was just around the corner anyway.

An absolute star who I will happily recommend to anyone in an 'L' postcode who needs his services.


*unless you count one fan heater and a plug in single cooking ring.
