Letterbox

As a counterpoint to the melancholy blips of rusting metal and fading paintwork so favoured by my colleagues here is a highly polished image from South Pallant in Chichester.

The house to which this letterbox belongs was the home of the composer John Marsh between 1787 - 1828. A contemporary of Mozart, his music was much influenced by Haydn it seems.
