We have been dressing the house for Christmas these past couple of days. It's been fun rediscovering what's inside the box of decorations we'd stored in the attic the last three years. Then we opened the box we brought back with us from the States, so many memories attached to the things inside. The little bundle of salt dough ornaments we made with playgroup friends in the room under the big white wooden church, mini woollen wreaths from the efficiently elegant ladies at the Greens Sale, and a group of birch wood candles made by one of our friends for the nursery Christmas bazaar. Lovely memories.
