Optimist

I am not much into sailing, but I believe there is a type of sailing dinghy called an Optimist. Don't know if the vessel shown here, through a film of water on the window, is of that type, but the sailor on board certainly is an optimist. I was holding my breath as he tacked his way across the water, buffeted by the force 6 winds and continuous rain this afternoon.

Four years ago, someone who tried this in similar conditions found himself being rescued by the Coastguard helicopter after his craft turned over.
