This nondescript looking pub is The Salmon. Not quite in the heart of the city centre, down a quiet side street, through the door you step into a really traditional pub. All the old fittings and furnishings, cask ales, fantastic food...I had the Brie and home made spiced apple chutney on a warm baguette with salad garnish and actually struggled to finish it.
He opens 12-8 Monday to Friday and 12-7 on a Saturday, closed Sunday and if you`re ever in Leicester, it`s well worth a visit.
