The case of the toilet roll thief! In our library, we have been noticing that the large toilet rolls (the ones in the big round wall-mounted metal cases) have been going missing quite regularly from the ladies' loo. No-one is sure who is taking them, but it's getting beyond a joke so it was decided to put security tags on them to see if the theif can be captured by the library's security gates as the culprit tries to leave. We've even started taking bets on who is responsible and why they might want to pinch them. Oh, the excitement of working in an academic library! We certainly know how to have a good time!
