Shamrock

Weather has returned to normal Irish March weather, wet and windy. Better conditions for our native Shamrock.

Stayed in all day except for the odd excursion outside to feed animals and collect eggs.

Grace, my old Jacob sheep is getting very old. She is blind and gets confused about where she is in the field, but she always finds her way to the shed for her food in the morning. She still has some hearing and recognises the sounds of me banging around getting the food together.

She must be the oldest surviving sheep at 18 years of age. Hard to believe she survived such a harsh winter. I am still hoping that nature will run its course.
