Minna gets a bouquet

Today is the flag day of writer and social activist Minna Canth. It's a rather recent addition in the list of national flag days in Finland.

The statue can be found in Hämeenpuisto Esplanade in her birth-town of Tampere.

Several plus Celsius degrees today, the snow is melting fast. It's wet and the colours are strong. I like the change.
