Rainforest Day

Today is Rainforest Day at Henry's school.

This year the school are supporting The World Land Trust as their chosen charity and today they wanted to raise money on the chariy's behalf.

The children have been studying the rainforest and its impact on our world. Today they were invited to pay £1 and dress up as something inspired by the rainforest. Henry spent ages making a head-dress decorated with leaves and lots of rainforest animals. He wore his favourite green T-shirt with its Save Our Trees Please slogan and even took in his sloth soft toy. There were lots of explorers and some really inspired outfits: butterflies, spiders, monkies and even a leopard!

I think a good time was had by all.

So in keeping with the spirit of things today's blip is a rainforest-inspired macro.
