Lac Léman

Or Lake Geneva as it is also known. This view is from the Jardin Anglais shore in Geneva looking northeast. The hallmark Jet d'Eau at 460 feet high gives a sense of scale. I love the two pollarded trees to the lower left.

When viewed large, there is a diving platform to the left of these trees and two people walking on the peninsula between the trees and the light house. A yellow water taxi is about to make its escape to the far lower right. The light in the sky just above the diving platform and the Jura mountains is an in coming commercial airliner in its landing approach to the airport.

A lovely warm spring evening with the outdoor cafe's rapidly filling up...
