Appleton Tower. Made from purest ugly
SCIENTIFIC FACT!
Created as a familiar-looking safe haven for those who fled Hull after it was flooded by a seemingly continuous stream of concrete in the 1960's, Appleton Tower now stands as a constant reminder to the inhabitants of Edinburgh that even in one of the most beautiful cities on Earth, where magnificent buildings meet stunning natural surroundings, a group of people armed with nothing more than the mother of all ugly sticks can enter the scene and go postal on George Square.
A bad photograph followed by poor writing. My work here is done.
