Lost the Light

I was leaving my office on the way to go out shooting. However, before I got out the door I got engrossed in a conversation....for about an hour!

So,finally, I got out of the office and as I was driving towards The Presidio, I knew my timing was off and I already missed the best light. I like the idea of this shot however, I don't like my execution. Couldn't get the colors or sky where I wanted them so I started playing around with presets to "make it work".
