Tulips Under Siege

Not gonna say the word, fl***rs, if I can help it. Oh sure they're taller than they were a week ago, but now they're dealing with staying upright and reaching for the warm sun - of which there is none. Yes, that white bit there, it's snow. Thankfully it's just above freezing so it shouldn't hang around long. It's blowing sideways - a veritable spring blizzard. Shoulda stayed in Houston, although they got some of this too I heard.

The grandbabies are on their way over so I'd better go start tearing apart the house. No need to clean before they come. I wonder what they'll think if they get here and the couch is already made into a fort? Suppose that would take most of the fun out of it.
