Mitchell Canyon, Mt. Diablo State Park

This is one of the S.F. Bay Area's SUPREME hikes. You can imagine you are far from any kind of development here. Today it was full of boundless wildflowers: California poppies, California buttercups, blue eyed grass, shooting stars, wild cucumber and many more. Two red tailed hawks were circling, possibly going through the mating display. Spring is here!
