Spring Tide

It's been a funny old day today - even for Monday. I left for my work in pouring rain but by the afternoon the sun came out and the clouds cleared. I wouldn't say it was warm but almost.

On my way home, I stopped by the seawall at Blackpool's South Prom and got this shot.

For this beach, it is quite a surf as the tide expends so much energy getting near the shore, it usually simply recedes!

The gathering clouds gave a clue about what was to come and within 30 minutes it was hosing down again!
