Negative space as mood and meaning.
You've probably missed yesterday's first part of my little self-assigned journey into negative space, so catch up if you like.
Without the negative space in this shot (basically everything but the lower left corner), all I have is a close-up of a hair on a sheet.
With it, I think there's a definite sense of absence here, giving the photo a mood and a backstory.
I wish I could've brought the hair out a bit more - made it a little more obvious - and it's not really clear enough that this is a bed - but, again, you do what you can and take what you can get.
