Today has been very pleasant thus far.

Hit the shops earlier 'sans enfant' - which thanks must go to dear hubby for! It did make a difference just being able to browse without the endless refreshment stops and toilet visiting (what is the fascination children have for toilets??!)

Home for lunch then a spot of lazing in the garden in the sun, catching up with the Saturday papers.

A spot of baking for tomorrow - fairy cakes (nice and easy on a hot day!). Cheese sauce made for Macaroni Cheese later. Lou and Joe sat up the top of the garden with an ice cream each, Barney is under the table in the shade, and Chris is just grrring at his computer.

All in all a pleasant day.
