Morning sun through an archway
I took my invalid dog for a walk this morning (ACL tear, 2nd in a year) and enjoyed the sun on my face at 8am. The neighborhood I live in sits on the hill below Washington Park, a famous Portland Park that includes the International Rose Test Gardens and the Oregon Zoo. I haven't adequately explored my neighborhood (King's Hill) but today I found a lovely laurel arch I hadn't noticed before and I had to take a photo of it. I love living "hardscaping" like this and hope I can create some of it in my own yard. I'm working on a climbing rose trellis right now. Anyway, if you ever visit Portland and you enjoy roses, take a walk by our house up to Washington Park!
