I See Molecules
My six-year-old (when not being obsessed with Hama Beads) is currently obsessed about atoms. I have no idea what has triggered this but he keeps asking how many atoms are in...a jar of jam...a shoe...a Hama bead. What are atoms...why do they stick together to make molecules...what are molecules...why can't we see them...what's the biggest molecule ever? Answers on a postcard please!
He has decided that Noah's teething toy is actually a model of a molecule and takes it everywhere with him, studying it.
It does look rather like a molecular model actually and is very aesthetically pleasing. So today's blip is Noah's amazing molecular teether and squish toy.
