A view of the Saxon Tower at All Saints Church
Today has been hot, hot, hot, sultry, sunny and a bit muggy.
And it's also the start of the football season. (hooray).
It was a sort of a nothing day in terms of doing things - e.g. went into town to buy shoes and smellies. The trip to the supermarket for the weekly shop has been postponed 'till tomorrow due to lack of interest.
And that was it.
This evening, we went to a little village called Earls Barton in Northamptonshire, and it's one claim to fame is the local church which has a renowned Anglo-Saxon tower which was built in the 10th century, and survives completely intact to this day.
So I blipped it.
