Jessica - this is for you!

Today, I'm still exhausted from dealing with the current bouts of tummy bugs that have hit our home. Both Mums and Bill have had this horrible gastro-virus thing!
It's taken the legs from both mums and they are slowly on the mend. Lots of extra TLC.
Luckily I have been on annual leave with plans to clear out the raised beds and clean the greenhouse and polytunnel, but hey ho, I am nothing, if not adaptable!

Thankfully, it has been great weather to get the piles of bedding etc dried.

Then the phone goes, it's Jessica, our dear friend and neighbour, asking if she can help out in any way and offers to bake bread and make a pot of soup for lunch today.
Yes please! What a gift!

Gavin, Jessica, and their beautiful daughters D and E are leaving these shores and heading west across the ocean to begin a new life on Vancouver Island, BC. this summer.

To say we'll miss them is an understatement, they will leave a gap that will be hard to fill.
Thank you for being true friends guys!
