Choppy waters

A strong southerly wind whips the enclosed waters of the Newton Basin up into white horses. It was a very blustery day, and at times the wind touched galeforce. It also blew up all sorts of rubbish, like shreds of papers and even clumps of soap suds that had been discharged through the sewers into the sea.
