in the light of history

photo taken at 6am this morning. I love that we get up in the light now.
this plant has quite a history. It used to belong to P's ex-girlfriend but got given to us 14 years ago when she moved to Aahus, Denmark. It moved with us from a commune to our first flat together, got mauled by a baby Andie, went to to live with ex-girlfriend's brother for two years while we lived in Edinburgh, got re-united with us in 2001, got mauled by baby Flurina, moved with us to the farm and away from it again, got mauled by baby Aïsha. It still lives in our house and I still don't like it. It appears to be immortal.
