Busy as a bee...

i ventured out of doors this afternoon to enjoy the warm spring air and take a break from the work that was keeping me indoors. Camera in hand, listening to the birds chirping away, watching Towanda explore the garden, I was happily snapping a shot here and there at nothing exciting when I discovered that the leaf on the pretty yellow flower that I was about to move... wasn''t a leaf at all. Towanda and I both watched this bee go about his business for several minutes - it was a very industrious bee indeed!

It was a quiet day, homebound with the sniffles for company, busy as a bee with tax reporting and returns and all sorts of (not) exciting tasks ... but a good day in spite of all that.
