Anne Heel (with appoligies to Woody Allen)

This is the site of the incision on the back of Missy Ann's heel. I took the photo while we were changing the dressing. It looks more swollen than it really is because of the camera angle. Actually she's doing a lot better than either one of us expected. She's managing her pain well and is up and around whenever she wants to. She does get tired easily but I think that's understandable. Her body has received a big shock and it's gonna take a while to recover from it.

In the meantime --- the healing continues.
