Lonely Tug under the Mountain

One of my favorite place to go and relax is along Dallas Road on the waterfront. The beautiful waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca with the spectacular Olympic Mountain Range in the distance gives one a truly humbling and relaxing experience. I especially enjoy it when the afternoon sun catches and highlights the snow capped mountains. There is often a haze obscuring the lower portion of the mountains that makes the scene both soft and mysterious. Today a tug boat was passing by one of the highlighted snow caps as I was pointing my camera in the right direction. Usually we see cargo ships passing through the strait and by comparison the tugboat looked lonely and small with the majestic mountain the background.
