More wine please!

I didn't think I would get time for a blip today. It's been a busy but very enjoyable day working at local schools.

When I arrived back at work a colleague was sorting out some pottery for a display. Most of the pots are replicas of mediaeval pottery found on site during excavations in the 1970s, which we use for displays and outreach sessions.

This pot caught my attention. I think it is French and it was used for wine! or was it the wine bit that caught my attention!!
