Quiet day

Today was a quiet day at work. Oh how I wish they were all this peaceful, and maybe I'd actually be able to get work done.

The weather went from fantastic to buckets of rain overnight. There were only fleeting moments of less obnoxious rain when you could run to your car or between buildings without taking a bath.

I wasn't sure what my blip would be today until I noticed these blossoms across the parking lot at work. The wind was whipping them around on their tiny little tree branches and caught my eye as I headed to my car.

I pulled around and got a very short moment of sprinkly rain so I could grab a few shots. As I considered changing lens', the downpour began once again, so I jumped into my car and scooted home.

I played with this a bit in Picasa because it was so dreary outside. I added some glow, warmth and a little fill light.
