Edinburgh Day 2

Not the best day to be a tourist in Edinburgh!

I had a spare hour to wander around the city where I grew up and left over 10 years ago, much has change, yet oddly much is still familier!

This is the Balmoral Hotel at the east end of Princess Street, after this I walked up to the High Street the down to the National Gallery for a little look around.

One of the best things about Edinburgh is it's openness, you don't get the feeling of a big city filled with characterless skyscrapers.
