Scott took a cooking class from chef Octavio Montoya and he is the head chef of Stadium's in Aliso Viejo. My friend Shelly lives in Aliso Viejo, as well. So, it was meant to be that we would have dinner together. Well, the Chef was working that night and it was to our advantage. Not only did we have a great dinner, but he had an appetizer sent to our table as well as this divine dessert. Everything was amazing, and it was a fun night.
This dessert is a slice of bread pudding, with vanilla ice cream, drizzled in strawberry syrup and fresh strawberries. Then it is surrounded with carmel and chopped, glazed pecans. Soooo yummy.
