Do you hear the swans?

I heard them this morning and went to the lake.
Still had to wade in snow up to my knees to get to the shore ... and the swans were there somewhere on the other side of the lake.
Could not see them, just heard their noises.
Great, at least got some exercise, sweating all over
... and in fact, their noises made me glad, it's good to know they are back!

And no, I didn't go on the ice... it's not safe any more!
