It ain't Paris
Glasgow in fact.
After yesterday's [backblipped] to-ing and fro-ing this morning was a much more relaxed affair.
I was going to ask for a discount on our hotel room as we came up short by an hour what with the clocks going forward, but thought better of it. Just made sure we collected all the complimentary food, toiletries and other freebies as compensation. You never know when you'll need a tiny toothpaste tube and needlework repair kit.
Had a leisurely wander around the Botanic Gardens after our breakfast. Nice and warm in the greenhouses, still very winterish outdoors though. Back on a quiet train (people-wise that is) until Stirling when some of last night's party goers seemed keen to continue the party on the train by wiring into the left over alcohol from last night.
Back to normality now and kids drawing us dirty looks after being lumbered with their Granny while we were away. From the sounds of things, I'm not sure who was actually looking after who...
