Canterbury Cathedral

Thanks to my friend's husband's parents who let us stay at their flat for free, we spent the weekend in Canterbury.

The weather today wasn't great so on arrival in Canterbury we sheltered in the rather colourful and eclectic Cafe Boho on the High Street. The interior is cosy with brightly coloured wooden chairs, black & white funky 70's floral table cloths, old Woodstock posters and one wall full of clocks from different eras. The food was homemade and delicious.

Having never been to Canterbury before, we had to visit the cathedral. I took many photos - this probably being my favourite. The cathedral is undergoing a lot of renovation at the moment so from the outside it wasn't as photogenic.

Then the rain came, so we headed for cover in Tiny Tim's Tearoom where I tried a pot of Russian Caravan for the first time and found myself leaving with a bag of it to take home.

The evening was spent eating curry. : )
