Pickin' Poppies

Not really picking...we are just looking at this hillside full of mexican poppies.

The desert bloom this year is exceptional. It is the result of an unusual amount or rain that occurred this winter. Very exciting to us. This hillside is wild and only 4 or 5 miles from home.
