Edinburgh Day 1

Got up and hit the road early. We arrived in Edinburgh at around 1330. Parked up on the Royal Mile and grabbed a coffee before meeting Step-daughter off the train.

We booked into a great apartment via laterooms and were well chuffed when we saw what we had for our money. Two bedrooms, a lounge/kitchen/diner room and a bathroom. Also free wi-fi!

Headed out into the town and did a bit of wandering before taking this blip through the glass canopy at the entry to the mall beside Waverly station. Step-daughter wanted to eat at TGIs and we had great service in there from a young Aberdonian lad!

After a little more wandering we went to the Playhouse to see Dreamboats and Petticoats! A great musical but a few oldies were up dancing around (I think they had had a wee drink beforehand)!

Afterwards a nightcap in a wee pub on the Royal Mile before hitting bed!
