Town Meeting

Our annual town meeting was on Saturday which required being there rather early and I was as blurry as this photo.

New England town meetings are pretty cool. We'd never experienced anything like it until moving to Maine. Held yearly, the town decides exactly where and how to spend our tax dollars. Alot of lively debate, characters and thank GOD - coffee. Town officials are elected, lunch is served and we roll out of there ready for another year of bliss in our little hamlet on the lake.

I kept an eye on these pots and drank more than my fair share. Eventually I wasn't so blurry. It took a while.
